Expressions of Interest - Senior Planning Officer​

The Ministry of Urban Development is looking for open-interest submissions to the role of Senior Planning Officer. Please be advised that this is not an application, but a way to allow people to indicate that they would like to be considered for the role.

The Senior Planning Officer will be working within the Department of Planning and Zoning.

Expectations for the Senior Planning Officer

• Deputy Ministers are expected to:
  • Remain consistently active through their tenure where possible.
  • Manage employees in their purview and collaborate with the Minister in regards to hiring and firing.
  • Be accountable to members of the public and the government.

Responsibilities of the Senior Planning Officer

• It is expected that the Senior Planning Officer will:
  • Manage the creation and development of Borough Zoning rules.
  • Ensure Borough Zoning rules are updated and consistent on the Forums and Discord.
  • Oversee the Paste process to ensure all pasted builds follow Borough Zoning rules and style restrictions.
  • Supervise City Planners and Paste Processors.
