Preamble: This bill aims to fix an issue allowing citizens to be double fined for threat of harm, as it is defined in assault as well. Threat of harm exists already as its own crime, there is no need for it to exist under assault as well.
1. Short Title
(a) This bill shall be referred to as the “Amend the New Criminal Code Act”
(b) This bill was authored by Octavian Russell.
(2) threatens imminent harm upon another person, excluding acts committed in reasonable self-defense.

(c) Assault
(iii) A person commits an offense if the person:
(1) inflicts bodily harm greater than or equal to three hearts of damage, excluding acts committed in reasonable self-defense or;
