Type: Act of Parliament
Preamble: This bill repeals the Farm Regulation Act and its amendments to establish more effective regulations for plot activities. The revised framework will:
(a) This bill shall be referred to as the "Production on Plots Act".
(b) This bill was authored by ChAkselsen1450 MP.
(c) This bill shall be enacted immediately upon passage and subsequent assent by Her Majesty the Queen.
(d) Existing constructions that violate this bill shall be given 14 days from assent to comply. Newly constructed or pasted-in buildings after the bill’s passage must be compliant immediately.
2. Objectives
(a) Consolidate all plot activity regulations into a single bill.
(b) Establish logical regulations based on job functions.
(c) Relocate production activities from residential and business plots to industrial plots.
(d) Farm is defined as any collection of crops within a 2 block radious of eachother going above the amount of 5.
(e) Animal farm is defined as the collection of more than 1 animal of each type within a plot.
3. Repeals
(a) The Amendments to the Farm Regulation Act are hereby repealed.
(b) The Farm Regulation Act is hereby repealed.
4. Farm Plots
(a) Farm plots shall be defined as any plots beginning with the letter "F".
(b) Only citizens with a Farmer degree or companies owned at least 25% by a Farmer degree holder may rent or purchase farm plots.
5. Industrial Plots
(a) Industrial plots shall be defined as any plots beginning with the letter "I".
(b) Farms and animal farms are now legal on industrial plots.
(c) Farms and animal farms must be hidden; however, if not an eyesore, they may be visible through windows.
(d) Ministry of Urban Development (MUD) shall oversee and categorize what constitutes an eyesore
(i) If MUD deems a farm or animal farm to be an eyesore, the owner has 14 days to make necessary modifications.
(ii) If the issue is not fixed within 14 days, a $1,000 fine will be issued, along with an additional 7-day extension
(iii) If the issue remains unresolved, MUD is authorized to remove the building, allowing the owner the normal building period to retain the plot
(iv) If a player disputes an eyesore notice, they may raise the issue in Parliament, which will vote on the matter. This appeal process requires a $500 filing fee
6. Business Plots
(a) Farms are illegal on business plots.
(a) Animal farms are illegal on business plots.
(b) Violations of Paragraph 6 will result in:
(i) Immediate removal and confiscation of the farm.
(ii) A fine of $50 per animal and $10 per crop, enforced by the Ministry of Justice.
(c) Exceptions to paragraph 6 are decorative crops and or animals as long as it is not more than 1 of each type of animal
7. Residential Plots
(a) Animal farms are illegal on residential plots, except for decorative animal pens.
(b) Farms are illegal on residential plots, except for decorative crops.
(c) Industrial machinery is illegal on residential plots.
(d) Redstone setups are illegal on residential plots, except for hidden storage systems with no other function beyond storage or sorting.
(e) The punishment for not following this are the same as the punishments outlined in section 6. (b) to (c)

- Maintain the best aspects of the previous farm regulation system while promoting a more structured approach
