Preamble: As disease becomes increasingly devastating in the world, it is clear the Azalea Isles needs a Ministry of Health to address concerns and act proactively.
1. Short Title
(a) This bill shall be referred to as the “Make Azalea Healthy Again Amendment”.
(b) This bill was authored by Lysander Lyon, Rory Casperson, and Lil Digi.
2. Amendment
12. Health
(a) This act hereby establishes a Ministry of Health which shall primarily be charged with:
(i) Managing the national public healthcare system, including but not limited to: the hospital, employees, maintaining an inventory of needed items, and setting treatment prices.
(ii) Enforcing national healthcare regulations for both public and private healthcare providers.
(iii) Administering and enforcing licensing requirements for practitioners and providers.
(iv) Promoting good health in the Azalea Isles through public health campaigns.
(b) Section 12, Office of the Prime Minister, shall be renumbered to Section 13.
Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon its passage.
