Reward recruitment of skilled immigration​

Preamble: We must have a system that encourages skilled immigration into the isles, by rewarding recruiters we will be able to form said system.



1. Short Title & Enactment
(a) This bill shall be referred to as the “Immigration Incentive Act.”
(b) This bill was authored by Robi Safran D'Azalea.


2. Definitions
(a) Sponsor: shall refer to the existing citizen who invites or refers a new resident to the city.
(b) Immigrant: shall refer to the newly arrived resident who was formally invited by the Sponsor.


3. The Affiliate Reward System
(a) A Sponsor is eligible for a one-time compensation payout of $6,000 for each Immigrant they successfully invite to the city.
(b) This compensation shall only be unlocked and authorized for disbursement once the referred Immigrant reaches a minimum of thirty-six (36) hours of total Playtime.

4. Administration and Disbursement
(a) The total active budget for this incentive program shall be determined and allocated by Parliament via a simple majority vote, this budget is to then be transferred to the MEA for payments.
(b) The MEA shall be responsible for administering this program, which includes verifying the Immigrant's Playtime and manually issuing the $6,000 payout to the Sponsor.
(c) To initiate a compensation claim, the Sponsor must complete and submit a google form provided by the MEA.
(d) Funds from the allocated budget shall be disbursed by the MEA on a strictly first-come, first-served basis upon verification.
(e) Once the parliamentary budget for the incentive program is fully exhausted, the MEA shall halt all further payouts, regardless of an Immigrant reaching the 36-hour threshold, until Parliament votes to allocate additional funds to the program.

Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage
