Type: Act of Parliament
1. Short Title and Enactment
(a) This Act shall be referred to as the “Government Internship Act.”
(b) This Act was authored by Unity Master, Anthony Org and Robidemon2.
(c) This Act comes into force immediately upon passage.
(b) Government Internship positions may be vacant temporarily but must be actively available for appointment, and searching for appointees.
(i) Ministries with vacant intern positions must conduct active recruitment efforts consisting of a minimum of three (3) public job postings per week.
(c) Interns shall receive equal pay to the standard of the position they are interning for.
(d) Government Internship appointments shall be made at the discretion of the relevant Ministry, subject to this Act.
3. Government Internships
(a) Government internships are positions within each ministry designated specifically for new citizens of the Azalea Isles.
(i) These positions must consist of existing ministry jobs and careers, consistent with the opportunities and responsibilities of non-intern eligible citizens.
(b) In order to be considered eligible for a Government Internship, a citizen must have immigrated within the preceding two (2) months.
(i) This shall be determined by their join date in the /profile gui
(c) Once two (2) months have passed since a player’s join date, they shall no longer be eligible for government Internships.
(d) Upon exceeding the two-month threshold, the player must either:
(i) be appointed to a non-intern government role, or
(ii) be removed from the internship position.
(e) Intern classification may not be extended or renewed beyond the two-month limit.
(a) First instance of non-compliance of the ministerial requirements within the bill
(i) Written warning issued to the responsible Minister
(ii)14-day cure period to achieve compliance
(b) Second instance of non-compliance of the ministerial requirements within the bill
(i) The Minister must appear in a hearing before Parliament to explain the non-compliance
(ii) 7-day cure period to achieve compliance
(c) Third non-compliance of the ministerial requirements within the bill,
(i) Parliamentary vote on ministerial removal
(ii)If removed, the Minister is disqualified from holding ministerial office for 2 months
(d) Criminal Penalties for Ministerial Misconduct:
(i) Willful Non-Compliance of the ministerial requirements within the bill may result in:
(1) Misdemeanor charge filed by the Ministry of Justice
(2) $2,000 personal fine + declared derelict from their duties if convicted.

Establish a standardized internship framework across all Ministries of the Azalea Isles Government.
Preamble
It is important that new citizens are given opportunities to learn governmental functions, integrate into public service, and participate meaningfully in civic life. A formal internship framework promotes transparency, fairness, and accessibility while ensuring Ministries maintain consistent staffing standards.1. Short Title and Enactment
