Make Event Spaces Free
Preamble:
Community events are one of the greatest contributors to player retention, community engagement, and server activity. The problem is requiring every public event space to be tendered or funded creates unnecessary barriers to hosting events. Permanent event spaces should be treated as server infrastructure that benefits all players rather than individual projects. Therefore, this legislation is to establish publicly available event spaces for use by the Ministry of Events and Culture (MEC) and other approved community events that won’t cost the government anything.
Public Un - Paid Event Spaces
(a) Public Event Spaces shall not be subject to the tender process.
(b) These spaces shall remain available for community use rather than private ownership.
Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage.
