The Mayor invites expressions of interest for Commissioner, leading the Free District of Salmonberry's Department of Development.

About the role
The Commissioner will oversee rentals, transport, public works, infrastructure and resource stockpiles, and assist the Mayor with development proposals and district expansion. The role includes working with the Ministry of Urban Development on zoning and assessing whether plots follow the district's zoning theme or qualify as unfinished-construction eyesores under applicable law.

We are looking for someone who can turn ideas into practical projects, organize resources and communicate clearly with residents and colleagues.

Appointment
The Mayor appoints and may dismiss department heads at their discretion. This office also carries membership of the Advisory Council, including its referendum-petition responsibilities. Departmental services will develop as staffing, facilities and authorized funding become available.
