Create a New Criminal Code​


(1) Purpose
(a) Repeal the Electoral Crimes and Registration Act, Repeal and fix the flawed criminal code, and implement a clear misdemeanor and felony system.

(2) Repeal
(a) The Criminal Code and Electoral Crimes and Registration Acts shall be repealed in their entirety.

Electoral Offenses​

  1. Misrepresentation
    • Illegal to claim affiliation with a political party without their explicit approval or knowledge.
      Punishment: Minimum of $250 fine at the judgment of the courts.
  2. Coercive Behavior
    • Illegal to use blackmail, threats, or excessive pressure to coerce citizens into voting a certain way. Messaging citizens to request their vote is allowed if done without undue pressure.
      Punishment:Minimum of $500 fine at the judgment of the courts.
  3. False Voting
    • Illegal to vote on behalf of another individual or to attempt to vote more than once in the same election.
      Punishment: Minimum of $600 fine at the judgment of the courts.
  4. Electoral Dissuasion
    • Illegal to engage in actions that prevent citizens from participating in elections as candidates or voters.
      Punishment: Minimum of $1000 fine at the judgment of the courts.

Violent Offenses​

Misdemeanor Offenses:
  1. Assault
    • Illegal to cause bodily harm exceeding 3 hearts.
      Punishment: $25 fine per instance.
  2. Threats of Harm
    • Illegal to threaten someone or cause fear of harm using a weapon.
      Punishment: $25 fine per instance
  3. Trespassing
    • Illegal to refuse to leave a property when asked by the lawful owner or manager.
      Punishment: 5 minutes jail per instance.
  4. Attempted Murder
    • Illegal to cause bodily harm exceeding 5 hearts.
      Punishment: 25 fine + 2 minutes jail per instance.
Felony Offenses:
  1. Murder
    • Illegal to kill another person.
      Punishment: $50 fine + 5 minutes jail per instance.
  2. Robbery
    • Illegal to steal or possess property from any person, entity, or government, except Azalea Isle’s bank.
      Punishment: $350 fine + 15 minutes jail per instance.
  3. Bank Robbery
    • Illegal to rob Azalea Isle’s bank.
      Punishment: $450 fine + 15 minutes jail per instance.
  4. Resisting Arrest
    • Illegal to resist or refuse arrest when carried out by an authorized law enforcement officer acting within the bounds of the law.
      Punishment: $50 fine per instance.
  5. Incitement
    • Illegal to convince someone to commit a crime.
      Punishment: Same punishment as the incited crime.


Government Offenses​

Misdemeanor Offenses:
  1. Contempt of Court
    • Illegal to refuse a judge's order.
      Punishment: $500 fine + 10 minutes jail per instance.
  2. Perjury
    • Illegal to lie before any government entity.
      Punishment: $500 fine per instance.
Felony Offenses:
  1. Corruption
    • Illegal for government officials to refuse duty or use their position for personal gain.
      Punishment: $10,000 fine, 60 minutes jail, and removal from office.
  2. Treason
    • Illegal to subvert national sovereignty or security.
      Punishment: $10,000 fine, 40 minutes jail, and removal from office.
  3. Bribery
    • Illegal to offer or accept money for unlawful acts.
      Punishment: Fine of 1.5 times the amount + 40 minutes jail + removal from office.
  4. Failure to Follow a Judgment
    • Illegal to refuse to fulfill a lawful judgment.
      Punishment: Seizure of property + 10 minutes jail per instance.



Miscellaneous Offenses​

Misdemeanor Offenses:
  1. Unlawful Assembly
    • Illegal to gather with intent to commit unlawful acts or disrupt public order.
      Punishment: $500 fine + 10 minutes jail for first instance, $1000 fine + 60 minutes jail for repeat offenses.
  2. Failure to Follow a Dispersal Order
    • Illegal to disobey a lawful order to disperse.
      Punishment: 10 minutes jail per instance.
Felony Offenses:
  1. Selling Prohibited Items
    • Illegal to sell items you are not authorized to possess or control.
      Punishment: Seizure of items + $10,000 fine per instance.
  2. Trafficking Prohibited Items
    • Illegal to possess or transport prohibited items.
      Punishment: Seizure of items + $10,000 fine per instance.
  3. Criminal Fraud
    • Illegal to use deception for unfair gain or to deprive someone of their legal rights.
      Punishment: Fine of 1.5 times the fraudulent amount + 1 hour jail per instance.
(3) Enactment: This act shall be enacted immediately upon receiving Crown approval.
