You’ve joined CityRP chances are you (like most of us) have no idea what to do. Don’t worry we for the most part offer a kind and welcoming community.
When first joining you’ll be greeted with a tutorial this can be overwhelming. You’re not timed so no rush. If you miss something feel free to read our wiki, ask in our discord, or in-game global chat.
Jobs
After leaving the tutorial you're likely confused, no worries. CityRP offers several paths to make money. I recommend starting off heading to the university and taking one of the recommended new player trade jobs (Farmer, Miner, or Chef). These jobs have the highest earning potential early on. Food
No matter what job you pick you’ll need food. While chefs can make their own, other jobs will need to buy custom food. Different foods have different effects; you can find a full list of them here.
Plots
Once you obtain food and get a job set you can look for land.
Farmers will need an f plot you can find available ones with /rlt list farms. Once you find an available one you can /gps <plot>. Once you reach there you can do /rlt rent <plot>
Other new player trade jobs don’t have a specific plot they need so you’re free to look around for apartments or a shop space you like. Once you find this you can rent it! Use /rlt rent <plot>.
Discord & Gov Jobs
One of the most beneficial platforms of CityRP is our discord! You can join with /discord. Once you’re in there please use support channels like
Be sure to use /discord link to link your Minecraft player to your discord account. This helps us better know you and gives certain perks in the discord.
The discord is also where you’ll apply for government positions. Visit the
Forums & Gov Grants
Another beneficial platform is our forums. Our forums are a space used for many OOC (Out of Character) and RP (Roleplay) things.
On the forums as a new player you can apply for a government grant. This grant provides you with a one-time free bonus. You can find more about grants here.
Server Lore
Once you’ve begun being integrated into the server. It’s easier to understand our lore a short summary is below:
Our server takes place in a country known as the Azalea Isles, an island nation. Our parent nation is Regalis (Led by a Queen) The government is a Parliamentary system, led by three branches of government (Executive, Judicial, and Legislative).
