Amendment to an Act

A
BILL
TO
Amend the Upstanding MPs Act

Preamble: Currently, a sanctionable offence must be admitted to or charged in the court of law. However, with the way misdemeanors are currently handled, rarely will an MP be held on serious misdemeanors such as bank robbery or multiple counts of murder. This amendment aims to fix this, ensuring that MPS are held at a high standard.

1. Amendment
(a) Section 2 of the Upstanding MPs Act shall be amended to read as
(i) (d) For a crime to be countable for sanctions under this Act, the perpetrator must have admitted to the deed or been found guilty by the Judiciary.
(ii) (d) For a crime to be countable for sanctions under this Act, the perpetrator must have admitted to the deed, gone to jail for a charge that was "auto-generated", or been found guilty by the Judiciary.

Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon passage
