Protect the Azalea Isles ​

Preamble: As we are a smaller nation in the world, it is our duty to protect our wonderful Isles in other ways than just military action thus an Unusual Incidents unit would help us keep our eyes on foreign adversaries.

1. Short Title

(a) UI unit
(b) This is authored by Dr Lee Funks, BezzerGeezer MP, Robi Safran-D'Azalea

2. Unusual Incidents Unit

(a) This unit will be apart of the MOS
(b) The Job of the UI Unit is to gather intel on foreign adversaries.
(c) Members of the UI Unit will be able to see into diplomatic relations channels, as a way to gather intel.
(d) Members of the UI Unit will go to meetings with foreign nations to protect the diplomats of our nation.

3. Director of UIU

(a) The Director hiring process will go as follows.
(i) The Director is nominated by the Minister of State.
(ii) The voting period will last 48 hours, and will require a super-majority to pass.
(iii) If the super-majority does not pass, the process will start over.
(b) The Director will control and oversee all forms of intelligence gathering that the unit performs, and will undertake all assignments presented to them by the ministry of State.
(c) The Director is in charge of making personnel decisions within the unit.

4. Deputy Director of UIU

(a)The Deputy Director will act as the Director if they are indisposed.
(b)They will have the ability as well to find people to work within the UIU but have to ask the Director with their permission to hire.


Enactment: This Act comes into force immediately upon its passage.
