Transportation Guide
It’s important to be able to know how to get your way around the city! This guide will go over the various transportation methods you can use to navigate the isles!
/warp For trade jobs, the /warp command is extremely useful and can save a ton of time! The /warp command displays a menu with three options: the Spawn, the Mines, and the Wilderness. Currently, these warps are free and will instantly teleport you to the location!
/sethome/sethome is another useful command. Essentially, this sets a personal warp to a specific point of your choosing, whether it be a house or a shop. Everyone gets one free /sethome, however, donators are able to do this multiple times.
/spawnThis command will instantly teleport you to spawn, regardless of where you currently are on the map. Similar to the previously mentioned warps, this command is free of charge.
Busses
The Ministry of Urban Development also has busses available to get around! Currently, the bus fares are $10. To use the bus, simply walk into the bus and right click on the sign that says [Travel] on the first line. This will prompt you with a menu of various destinations!
Vehicles
The server also has a custom vehicle plugin! Vehicles are craftable and sold by Mechanics. They can also appear in the Night Market, and special vehicles are obtainable in crates. Mechanics will sell vehicle vouchers which can be redeemed by right clicking to get the vehicle. To drive, right click the drivers seat and accelerate using the W-key. You can slow down or reverse using the S-key, and turn using the A- and D-keys. Some vehicles can fly, which can be done using the space bar. You are also able to add other people to vehicles as drivers or passengers.
Map:
Whether you want to see where in the city you are, look for a specific location, or merely marvel at the city, the server also has a map plugin. To access it, go to map.cityrp.org. On the right side menu, you can toggle seeing where other players are and view it in both 2D and 3D form. To hide yourself on this map, run /dynmap hide. Conversely, /dynmap show will show yourself on the map.
GPS
Want to get to a specific location, but don’t want to go through the hassle of accessing the city map? Good news: we have an in-game GPS, as well! Most plots and city center shops are in this system. To use it, run /gps start xXXX. For example, if you want to go to the plot b001, run /gps start b001 and follow the arrow in the sky. You can use the GPS with coordinates by typing /gps-coords followed by the coordinates you want to navigate to. To stop the GPS, run /gps stop.
