Consideration Interest Forum - Minister of Economic Affairs​

The Prime Minister's Office has opened up this thread for open-interest submissions to the Minister of Economic Affairs role. Please be advised that this is not an application, but rather just a way for people to indicate that they would like to be considered for the role. This forum will close on June 10th, 2025.

The Minister of Economic Affairs will be tasked with supporting the government-side management of the economy managing the financial industry, engaging in trade deals, and leading expenditure initiatives.

Expectations for a Minister

• Ministers are expected to:
  • Remain consistently active through their tenure where possible.
  • Hire, fire, and manage employees in their Ministry.
  • Be accountable to members of the public.

Responsibilities of an Economic Affairs Ministry

• It is expected that the Ministry of Economic Affairs will:
  • Administer and provide government grants
  • Manage the registration of companies
  • Enforce business compliance legislation
  • Compile economic and government financial data, including tax projections
  • Promote and maintain the economy
  • Manage the government's resource stockpile
  • Accept and negotiate trade deals
  • Organize and facilitate procurement programs

Reason for Interest: Having worked in MOC previously as the minister and the largest advocate for increasing growth on the server it would be ill will and hypocritical of me not to take the opportunity not to put my methods and my promises and ultimately money where my mouth is.
Possible Ideas or Plans: Increasing awareness of existing grant schemes, expand the grant system and implement both local and international trade reforms in order to encourage growth growth and more growth.

Reason for Interest: Having a higher position as Economic Minister of Affairs can help me to make even faster more projects to promote citizens making active business on the daily market.

Possible Ideas or Plans: Since I arrived in the city and observed the problem at hand, my plans have always been to take a constant stake in the city by being a source of work for many, even ex-criminals by giving them a chance for reintegration based on hard and honest work. A lot of citizens can support this and going back to my plans for the community is to employ different people from various fields of work and encourage them to start their own active businesses, I don't plan to monopolize the business but to be a pilar in the economy of Azalea Isles, i have started an organization to make sure this and recruit people interested in making a change and improvements.

Current Experience in Azalea: My experience on Azalea Isles so far It has been challenging in the work environment having to resort to many other fields to obtain the capital that I have and invested over time, citizens are supportive but as much as me, they have the same problem of not having a viable nor stable source of economy.
