This is not a real case, and is merely a fun mock trial event on St. Patrick's Day
Azalea Isles, Prosecution
v.
Lucky O'Malley, Defendant
Criminal Complaint:
The Crown of Azalea Isles brings this complaint against Lucky O’Malley for the alleged theft of 64 gold ingots from the Azalea Isles Treasury Vault on the night of March 17th. The defendant was apprehended shortly after the incident and is accused of grand theft, trespassing in a restricted area, and evading arrest.
Parties:
On the night of March 15th, at approximately 11:10 PM, a small figure dressed in green was seen exiting the Azalea Isles Bank, carrying a sack presumed to contain stolen gold ingots. Moments later, the suspect vanished in a flash of green light, a method commonly associated with leprechaun teleportation magic. Officer Declan Lamb, who was on patrol near the treasury, witnessed the figure fleeing and immediately initiated pursuit. The chase led to the Drunken Shamrock Tavern, where the suspect (later identified as Lucky O’Malley) was found out of breath and acting evasively. Despite being searched at the time of arrest, no stolen gold was recovered, leading authorities to believe it had been hidden or magically concealed before capture. A four-leaf clover, commonly associated with O’Malley, was discovered inside the treasury vault, strengthening the case against the defendant.
Evidence:
1. Exhibit A: Arrest Report - completed by the arresting officer
2. Exhibit B: Green Clover - item was discovered in bank shortly after robbery
3. Exhibit C: Security Ledger - showing the count of gold ingots in the bank over time
4. Exhibit D: Shamrock Tavern Receipt - showing drinks purchased by defendant at 11:34pm
Legal Claims:
1. The Defendant, Lucky O'Malley, committed the crime of Bank Robbery under §1.6 of the Criminal Code, whereby the a "real or intagible object" was stolen from the Azalea Isles Bank
2. The Defendant, Lucky O'Malley, committed the crime of Resisting Arrest under §1.7 of the Criminal Code, whereby he failed to follow the lawful orders of a police officer, instead choosing to flee the scene of the crime.
Prayer for Relief:
1. Fine of $2500 dollars and 15 minutes of jail for bank robbery.
2. Fine of $50 for resisting arrest and fleeing the scene of the crime.
3. Death penalty for stealing gold on St. Patrick's Day.
Trial is to be held ingame.
