Ministry of Justice:
The Ministry of Justice strives to work together with and for the public.
The Ministry of Justice is dedicated to protecting and serving the people.
The Ministry of Justice is dedicated to completing our jobs with honesty and integrity.
The Ministry of Justice believes in completing our jobs professionally and respectfully.
The Ministry of Justice does not support the abuse of police tools, equipment, and/or commands outside of the duties of an Officer.
The Ministry of Justice works to protect and serve the citizens of Azalea Isles and protect peace.

Police Department:
The Police Department shall be in charge of tracking and arresting criminals.

• Officers may arrest players with active in-game warrants.
• Auto-reported crimes are always automatically marked as warrants.
• To get Arrest Warrants for Manual Reports, Officers have to use the Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) to create a criminal record. Those records should contain useful evidence if they are to be authorized as warrants by individuals ranked Captain and above.
• Officers shall inform individuals they may dispute charges in the Ministry of Justice server, via a ticket.
• Individuals who dispute charges will not be immediately jailed for the charge they are contesting. They must immediately open a ticket in the MoJ server to contest; if they do not open a ticket while being initially detained, they do not have a valid dispute, and will be arrested for the crime.
• Individuals who open a ticket will be released from detention and shall have 24 hours from opening the ticket to submit their evidence contradicting the charge. If they do not submit it within the 24 hour time frame, their dispute shall be invalidated.
• Individuals who commit any additional crime before the dispute is resolved shall have their dispute invalidated, since their arrest and jailing for that additional crime will also clear the disputed crime due to plugin mechanics.
• To successfully dispute a charge, the convict should have sufficient evidence. If approved by a Captain or above, the warrant shall be removed in-game.

Department of Prosecution:
The Department of Prosecution deals with prosecuting criminals in Court and defending the Government in case it gets sued.

• If a criminal has committed a crime which can’t be punished by an officer, the Ministry of Justice takes the convict to Court.
• If the Government gets sued, the Ministry of Justice shall defend the Government of the Azalea Isles.
• Prosecutors get assigned cases by leadership (the Minister and Deputy Minister). Prosecutors are not allowed to reply to cases to which they are not assigned to.
• Prosecutors may go through Police Reports and answer those.

MINISTERIAL POLICY

1. Establishment
The Department of Criminal Intelligence shall be established as a department within the Ministry of Justice.

2. Function
The Department shall have the authority to:
a. Collect, analyze, and maintain information and evidence relevant to investigations conducted by the Ministry of Justice or other security or intelligence agencies.
b. Develop and operate analytical tools, databases, and other technological systems intended to support and improve the efficiency of government intelligence and investigations.
c. Conduct strategic intelligence gathering and covert operations for investigative or enforcement purposes, in cooperation with the Ministry of State when required by law.
d. Support the investigative and enforcement responsibilities of the Ministry of Justice, including but not limited to the methods prescribed in this section.

3. Leadership
a. The Department shall be led by a department head with the title of Director of Criminal Intelligence.
b. The Director shall be responsible for the administration, development, and operations of the Department.

4. Roles
- Investigator — Criminal Investigations Division
- Intelligence Analyst — Cyber Analytics Division
- Digital Systems Specialist — Cyber Analytics Division
- Special Agent — Operational Intelligence Division

5. Enactment
This policy shall take effect immediately upon issuance.
