CITY SPOTLIGHT:
Celebrating the Culture of CityRP
Hey, Azalea Isles!
As your Minister of Events and Culture, I’m thrilled to introduce something brand new: City Spotlight! A bi-weekly feature series that puts you at the center of the city’s stage.

This city thrives because of the creators, the performers, the builders, the storytellers, and the everyday legends who make it feel alive. City Spotlight is here to celebrate those people, amplify their voices, and showcase the culture we're all building together.

What is City Spotlight?
Every other week, we’ll shine a light on one player or group that’s doing something cool, creative, or impactful:
  • Artists
  • Musicians
  • Builders & designers
  • Social icons
  • Business owners
  • Or even someone who brings the good vibes
You’ll get to know who they are, what they do, and maybe even how they got where they are.

Want to Nominate Someone?
Open an MEC ticket through the CityRP Discord with:
  • Their Minecraft username
  • What they do in Azalea Isles
  • A short reason why they deserve the spotlight
Self-nominations are totally welcome. Be your own biggest fan, we love that here.

Let’s make this city loud, proud, and full of love for its people.
Spotlights are coming soon. Who will be first?

With love and appreciation,
— Minister Regyna Allen, Events & Culture

City Spotlight #1: Huney Sixtynine, The Soul of the Sea
When the sun rises over the Azalea Isles and the waves gently lap against the shore, one man is already out on the water. Rod in hand, cat by his side, and peace in his heart. That man is Huney Sixtynine, the Isles’ first max-level fisherman, founder of the company Aquatic, and the honored subject of our very first City Spotlight.

But Huney's story doesn’t begin on a boat.

Before he ever cast a line, Huney Sixtynine was known across nations for his career in politics. From humble beginnings, he rose to become Public Affairs Minister, then a Representative, then President of the Senate. Eventually, he became the Vice President and then President of his former country. Among his proudest achievements was launching HuneyCare, a healthcare initiative that brought free medical access to all citizens. After immigrating to the Azalea Isles, he ran for Parliament, where he made a lasting mark by helping to create the Ministry of Events and Culture itself.

Now, fittingly, he returns as its first spotlighted figure.

Huney’s path to fishing began in retirement. On a quiet evening stroll by Azalea’s port, he paused to listen to the waves. Something about that moment, the salt in the air, the rhythm of the sea, called to him. He calls it fate. That night, a new career began.

Since then, Huney has not only mastered his craft but transformed the fishing career entirely. As the first to reach max level, he turned a peaceful profession into a meaningful economic force. Through Aquatic, he’s provided enchanted books, rare fish, and other sea-gathered treasures to jobs and industries all across the Isles. For Huney, fishing isn’t just a job. It’s a way of giving back.

While the profit is appreciated, it isn’t his goal. Huney fishes for peace. After a high-stress career filled with elections and legislation, the ocean gives him clarity, solitude, and a return to himself. His only regular company out there is his cat, McChicken, a fitting companion for a man who prefers the rhythm of the waves to the rush of crowds.

Still, there’s a warmth to Huney that shows his time in isolation hasn’t made him distant. One of his dreams is to open a cozy café, a place where he can meet new people and share stories over warm drinks. And in classic Huney fashion, even at the top of his field, he’s focused on uplifting others. He’s begun laying the groundwork for a Fishing Union, aimed at helping newer anglers find guidance and community.

Huney’s legacy is more than skill or prestige. It’s heart. It’s commitment. It’s the belief that no matter how far you’ve risen or how long you’ve served, there’s always time to find your true calling. Whether it’s legislating laws or casting a line, Huney Sixtynine does it with quiet determination and a whole lot of soul.

He says he’s retired from politics. But maybe, one day, when the Isles need it most, an angler’s perspective will return to public life.

Until then, we thank you, Huney. President, fisherman, and cultural icon. Thank you for everything you’ve given to this city and sea.

City Spotlight #2, AdmiralKenko, The Master Builder

The Architect Behind the Blocks

When it comes to transforming vision into reality, few players on CityRP have left as lasting a mark as Admiral Kenko. Since joining the server on May 13th, 2025, Kenko has clocked over 15 full days of playtime—and nearly every minute has gone into building not just structures, but stories.

From our beautifully reworked spawn area to smooth, citywide road systems and towering builds for local companies, Kenko’s work touches almost every corner of the map. But his contributions go far beyond bricks and blocks. He’s also someone who’s always willing to lend a hand, help a new player, or collaborate on a team build. His creativity, generosity, and dedication to the server make him a role model and a standout citizen.

Kenko isn’t just a builder—he’s a builder of community. New players often mention him as one of the first to offer help. Veterans respect his eye for detail and his ability to blend creativity with function. From bridges to skyscrapers, from back alleys to main roads, Kenko builds for everyone, not just himself.

In a world where fast builds and shortcuts are common, Kenko shows us the value of craftsmanship, patience, and careful planning. He makes our city better, one thoughtful design at a time.

Today, we take the time to recognize and celebrate everything Admiral Kenko has brought to CityRP. Your builds are stunning, your dedication is unmatched, and your kindness doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for being a creative force, a generous teammate, and a cornerstone of this community.

Here’s to many more builds, many more cities—and many more stories you’ll help shape.

🛠️ Keep inspiring, keep crafting. We can’t wait to see what you build next.

We had the chance to sit down with Admiral Kenko to learn more about what fuels his passion, what he’s working on now, and where he hopes his creative journey on CityRP will take him next.

🧱 Q&A WITH ADMIRAL KENKO

Q1: What inspired you to make such amazing buildings?
Kenko:

"What inspired me to do building is I used to play LEGO as a child, and my dream job was to become an architect—but it didn't happen. Maybe that’s why I’m good with building in Minecraft."

Q2: What are your future plans for building?
Kenko:

"My future plan is to make the most beautiful city in Minecraft that ever existed."

Q3: What is your favorite building so far?
Kenko:

"My favorite is what I’m building right now for Wolfe—Cyberpunk City."
