Profession Artist Guide

Welcome to the Artist Guide! As a profession, you can complete an exam for this in addition to your trade job at the university. Note that professions are different from trade jobs - they don't have quests, and the exams are more challenging.

Snap and Share​

As an artist, you have exclusive access to our camera plugin that allows you take and save pictures in-game as map art. In order to take photos, you will need:

• Camera (recipe can be found in /recipes)
• Paper (just the vanilla item)

Once you have both, you just aim the camera and right click.

Painting Canvas​

As an artist, you have exclusive access to craft an easel and canvas. This will allow you to draw art on an in-game map using dyes. Draw the city or whatever your imagination feels!

In order to paint on a canvas, you'll need:

• Easel (recipe can be found in /recipes)
• Canvas (recipe can be found in /recipes)
• Various blocks and items for dyes (find out what item corresponds to a colour with /art)

Once you have placed an easel, you can put your canvas on it. Afterwards, you can click on the easel to sit on it and paint. To exit, simply shift-click.

In order to save your artwork, you will need to run /art save <title>
